Some tips on using carbon fibre.

1. It is very abrasive and wears out saw blades really quickly, use a carbide edged blade like the ones using for cutting tiles and it works great.

2. Wear a mask or respirator designed for particulates when you grind, saw or drill it.

3. Use carbide drills if possible or expect to sharpen your drills frequently.

4. Wear leather gloves when working it or you'll get a lot of spliters which are very small but painfull!

5. It grinds well on a belt grinder and produces an interesting surface.

6. Beware cheap carbon fibre, the good stuff has the weave all the way through the material, the cheap stuff only has the pattern on the surface.

The same techiques can also be applied to G10
