Would be happy to send you some of the material. Check the Available Section of my site for pieces and availability. Shipping cost to you would be $5. Sent some to Denmark recently.

The epoxy used in the material is very similar to that used in G10. The fabric is cotton. Neither should be inhailed or gotten in your eyes. Users report very low odor. They should wearing an appropriate resporator and not smelling it at all.

Does this stuff come thin enough fo a spacer, 4-6 mm maybe?

And how easy is it to cut?

Dave
I can make it about any thickness. The material cuts and grinds a little easier than Micarta.

Have never used micarte. I make hidden tang ( nordic style). Will it glue to wood ok. and what sort of cost are we taking about for pieces of 6mm and 10mm thickness?

You should not have any problem glueing it to wood or steel. There are several variations of the material, Plain Weave, Parallel Ply Twill, Bias Ply twill, ect.
Should probably look at the Denim section of my web site, it has some prices also.

Also have been working on Denim blocks for hidden tang knives. No pictures yet.
