I am aware of the fact that people are waiting for their folders and I'm late with them.
As I have already told one or twp people. The causes of the delays were engineering and finalising the design so it would work and making the folders to the correct standard.
A more conventional folder held together with rivets and not easily taken apart would have been a lot quicker to produce but in my opinion would not be a folder with the uniqueness in both design and manufacture that would make it stand out from the crowd and be of a quality to represent want I can do and what the people on this forum would expect. I would rather have orders cancelled than sell inferior goods.
I make my folders with the same care and attention that I would expect from any custom maker which means if a folder is not right, its made right and if can't be made right, it ends up in the scrap bin. For example, I had a backspring that worked fine, it was flush when the blade was opened or closed and had great walk and talk. It had to be junked because it was 0.08mm too thin and a hairline gap could be seen between the spring and the liner. I had to use a new spring and that took another 2 hours to do right.
I will make a schedule of delivery in the next couple of days
