carved fox-head Walking stick..

Well i think it's a fox or a wolf....or a doggie:lol:

i bought this a few years ago with a view to taking nice long walks in the countryside as i'm only ten minutes from the peak district but arthritis creeping on nipped that in the bud:C

the shaft is of cherry or some kind of prunus, it has a brass ferrule to attach the handle which is a canine head with glass eyes, the neck has been carved into something resembling ramshorn and is very comfortable to grip.

the stick is just about 50" tall (approx 1.3metres)..
