Hi all

the clearout continues!

i bought this from my brother a couple of years ago, he bought it for his son who took no interest in looking at the night sky whatsoever:rolleyes:
this was then boxed and put away in the spare room..

i used it once or twice then bought an Orion 8" reflector (and the a meade etx70at:C )

it surprised me how good the optics were on this...

the kit comprises of the telescope with 5x24mm finder scope
eyepieces (lenses) are- f4mm, f15mm, f23mm and a t18 (terrestrial viewing)
powers are- 30x, 39x, 46x, 90x, 140x, 175x and 525x.

the tripod is timber and has an accessory tray to hold the lenses..

there is a diagonal mirror to assist viewing..

the object lens is 60mm dia and has a focal length of 700mm...

there is also a 3x barlow lens included, the T18 erecting lens also doubles as a 14x microscope;)

the package weighs nearly 4.5 kilos and will be posted by standard parcel + 1 insurance..

the price i'm asking is 40 posted, i paid almost double that a couple of years ago:(

if anyone is close enough to collect (south sheffield) then the price is 30 collected;)

i would prefer paypal as payment method but no other recognised methods will be refused...

if i go on like this, i'll be able to get into the spare room:O

regards, john
