I got over-enthusiastic in a charity shop today and bought a second copy of Perdido Street Station (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Perdido-Street-Station-China-Mieville/dp/0330392891/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1259691953&sr=8-1) by China Miéville. I haven't read the first copy :rolleyes: , so this is a freebie. 867 pages :surrender: .

It is a good read, but only if you like that sort of thing ;) I like it, and it's a lot better than its wikipedia article suggests it's going to be.
