At least, EN42 is what MBM says he wants, I'm just going along with it ;)
Between us we want enough for a couple of blades each. MBM is wanting to make a couple and needs something he can cut 2 x 10.5"x1.25" full tang blades from. I am after something I can get 2 x 8"x1.25" stick tang blades from.
Can anyone here help or is there somewhere we can get this smallish amount from?
Cheers!

As EN42 is used as springs, try contacting a spring manufacturer. Very cheap.
In RSA, I could get it from 0.5mm to 55mm thick!
Watchmakers/repairers to truck builders went to one place...
Available in rolls about 2 m wide, but I asked for it in flat sizes, for kukhris, etc, and I
HTed it at 56 Rockwell for more toughness.

BTW, I have just phoned a springmaker/forge in Christchurch, and he can sell me the sizes you require for less than NZ$10-00! Less than 3 Pounds!
It should still be cheap in the UK.
I think that Shing sells EN42, you could try contacting him.

Hi Tiffers, my mailbox is a bit funny at the moment, you can email me, I've got a lot of EN42, a lot of 4mm a bit less of 3mm but should have enough for the blades you need.
