Started life as a 1994 (L reg) Metropolitan police K75RT.
I bought this bike as a cosmetically challenged good runner, and put in a lot of time converting it to naked spec. It has been garaged since I've had it.
It's still a good smooth runner, fully serviced, new filters all round, & I've just done the driveshaft splines, MOT until Aug, & has done 48000 Miles.
I have fitted a lot of either new or nearly new (Motorworks) parts, including 3 spoke wheels, low seat, tail unit (freshly professionally resprayed white), front mudguard (new), dent free K1100 tank which is satin finish ally, chrome mid rise bars (new), chrome headlight & surround (new), radiator & fan, mirrors (new), fork seals (has the newer spec Showa forks), new gel battery (since the photo was taken), braided stainless brake hoses, ALL stainless fasteners (plus lever pivots, spindle washer etc), stainless brake pins, new pads, damage free engine covers, Pro Bolt bar ends, downpipes, & more. The bike also has the police spec R100R floating front discs, which are a superb upgrade. I have not fitted a standard radiator cover panel, for the cafe racer look, but one would fit if you wanted.
The most striking feature of the bike is the silencer! This was a new carbon fibre Yamaha R1 road legal silencer, with a stainless connector pipe & hanger professionally made & fitted by DEP in Maidstone. The high level pipe gives the bike a unique look, but it sounds just like standard, it isn't any louder, so is still legal & no problem for the MOT tester. The footrest hanger has been shortened, so no pillion footrest at present, also no centre stand, as the new connector pipe didn't allow for the centre stand bump stop. I haven't found this a problem, and I still have the centre stand & bracket which can easily be fitted if required for servicing. I also still have the original silencer (intact but cosmetically challenged), and full footrest hanger if you want to go back to standard.
Nearly forgot, the rev counter doesn't work properly.
Looking for £999 ono.
The bike is in Maidstone Kent.
PM if you have any questions, want to have a look, or if you want more pics e-mailing.
