Hiya all,

I heard the other day that there are proposals for changes to the law(s) regarding knives in the UK. Does anyone have any steer as to what they might involve?

The only one I have heard of is upping the buying age from 16 to 18.

That it is the only one I've heard from a politicians mouth so far but the media keep mentioning restrictions on carrying knives (like we arn't restricted already?)

I think the police have all the powers they need regarding knives. If they tighten the law any more, it would ban carrying a sak, so it seems hard to believe things will change much.
But then what do I know?

There are things I could think of for them to do.

I wonder how the bit in this (http://www.britishblades.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6806) thread might affect things though.
