i don't know why these are not allowed in the UK .as they do seem like a good idea, one hand opening etc , and they mostly seem to have small blades .
now i know the government would say that they are dangerous . but ,,,,,a 14" sabatier carving knife is a more scary weapon i would say , :O , and i bet most crimes are with this kind of thing as they are cheap and readily available ,,

i do have a leatherman wave as i can open it with one hand, with the wire i am about to strip in the other ,so i suppose this is the way around .but seems such a shame for the law abiding people if you see what i mean ,,1 in 1000 people are stupid but the 1000 pay the penalty :C ..life eh :|

mmm 1 in 1000 .,.,.,do you think i am being optimistic :D

Your points are good ones but perhaps better aired in a political forum.

If you like the idear of an auto but wish to remain on the right side of the law check out some AA's Kershaw's Scallion is a belter!
