Just thought I'd repost this in this thread with all you great leatherworkers.
My new style Sheath
And this sheath don't have to be fit to a knife. You can see that the strap holds the knife in the sheath. This way when I'm in the mood to make sheaths . I can make some extras. When the knife is pushed all the way in and the strap is buckled it holds the knife in the sheath.

Neat idea, but I think a Sam Browne instead of a pop stud would give more adjustability and more reliability too. I hate pop studs, they always seem to fail fairly quickly.

I should have added that the strap is replaceable, so that would be a easy fix on this sheath. The back of the sheath isn't cut out but has a slot that the strap goes through. Where do you find the Browne studs? Guess I could make them, but thats more time that I don't have.
