I am wanting to make a sheath that will be able to clamp on to a back pack strap of mole vest, wondering if anyone had any ideas or pictures?
Thanks,
Zach

WOW! Anyone? Have any ideas on the easiest quickest method of attaching a knife sheath, solidly to a back pack strap?

there has got to be some sort of snaping clip... http://www.nwbackpack.com/products/dual_adjust_side_release_buckle.php slide one onto your pack strap and incorpirate the other into your sheath

or incorp 2 of them (top and bottom of sheath) this one might slip over the loop http://www.nwbackpack.com/products/134_field_repair_side_release.php

A large Tek lok clip mounted as horizontal carry on your sheath works for me.
Seen here (small one, but they also come in large size): http://216.71.158.68/webcat/smalltek.shtml
Have a look at Bambi's (Martinsheaths) sheaths, he makes superb leather/kydex sheaths with a dazzling array of fastening options. (no affiliation, just happy customer :))
