Is this something that people know where to get it in the UK? Do people want it but can't find it?
I was just wondering as I quite like it but don't se knives with it on much. I also have a plan on finding out if I could get if if it isn't avaliable at the moment.

CFS do carbon fibre matting, rather than slabs.

A bit on the thin side, but I suppose you could laminate them together.

I assume you mean like you might find on bike wheels. I'm not sure, I think most people don't think they are worth it anymore for bikes but I may be able to. I'll be in touch

Solid pieces are the best...DO NOT LAMINATE, you will SEE the join no matter what joining compound you use.

I use http://www.fibre-lyte.co.uk/ for my Carbon Fibre they supply many different patterns/weaves and will supply small quantities.

The thickest piece I have had is 7mm but they will make what ever you want...... good service but it is expensive stuff!
