I was fortunate to grow up in an environment when knives were not regarded as evil...the golden age has passed, never to return...
I started making knives in 1975, as age fifteen...
I took a hunk of 12mm thick steel, about 40mm wide, that was in my Dad's garage.............and made an integral knife, after a longgggg time filing with a second cut file, ( the only one that my father would let me have)
One Sunday afternoon, I finished my very first knife...

I have to make a bigger platform for my grinder, so proper pics of a project will come as soon as i get that sorted.

As Ropeman says i may want to add leather on the grips, but i am impressed at the overall
Right I have been meaning to write this for the last 6 months, Hope its useful to someone
Late last summer SWMBO and I decided to go to Brussels, Belgium for a few days for good food, fine beer (well my reason) and relaxing, and if we were to go past a knife shop or two, well no reason not to go in, you know
Grand' Place or Grote Markt
Before going I ran a few searches
