I bought one of those cheap ones and its just rubbish. The opening is so small so you can only stitch tiny things. After googling around I found this maker who was in the process of starting up his Clamp business. I immediately signed up for one and was placed as number five. The first one did go to Hermes for evaluation, and what I heard from Fred they liked it a lot. So after a couple of weeks of waiting I finally got it.

What can I say, its amazing. The details, workmanship, quality is mind blowing. Fred is also a true gentleman to deal with. Highly recommended. And how was it to sew with? Just wonderful. So here is the pictures, otherwise it didn't happen.

Does anyone know of horizontal leather (not kydex, otherwise it'd scratch the scales too much) pouches that have a clever closing device that's not too awkward for ease of ingress/egress please..........?

Having a little trouble finding Tri Glides, brass ones in particular.
Odd that I can't find someone in Aus that stocks them!?

I have ordered a few from here
They look the goods, so will see when they get here.

However if anyone else knows of more I would really like a few more options on styles and stockists :)

I'm in need of a snap hook for sewing onto a strap that will then clip to a large D ring. However, all the snap hooks i have (or see) can swivel but I don't want it to be able to move. I also require the hook to sit at 90 degrees to the plain of the strap as opposed to inline with it (so not like a carabiner would sit)

Any help on a source or the 'correct' name?

he wanted me to incorporate some jigsaw pieces in this, now any body who has cut 4 mill veg tan, will no how hard it is with not so tight curves, this was most the challenging thing i have cut of leather to date, as one wrong slip, and i would have gone into the rest of the piece, also being jigsaw pieces i wanted this to fit like a jigsaw, what i have done is popped a eyelet in each piece, so that they can carry each piece of the puzzle at all times on there keys.

cut off the finger guard on 511 an some of the sheath extra plastic and made "frog"
on 711 cut off the piece that belt goes throe...
so here they are...
