Thick walled brass tubing wanted Thu, 19 Nov 2009 14:52:17 GMT Hi All, I'm after a source that sell thick walled brass tubing in 6mm and 7mm external diameter sizes. I do OK with the brass tubing I currently use to line the Lanyard holes, but I feel it's so much nicer when the tubing has a thick wall to it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks all... ]]> Resources... They're about 12" 30cm long, and the taper is about 7" 18cm long. It's this long taper that's useful.

Anyone know where I can get something similar in the UK?

Split Rattan?? Tue, 10 Nov 2009 12:39:48 GMT Anyone know where i can get lengths of split rattan from.

I need it for binding and decoration on bamboo sheaths.

If not rattan, then some other strong natural material suitable for 'Oriental' inspired knives and sheaths.

Thanks,

Mik

Where do you get these eyelets? Sun, 08 Nov 2009 09:22:09 GMT I have my first sheath project on the go and have just taken receipt of a load of eyelets from Leprevo (with washers), thinking they'd look like this when installed (using the little hammer tool)

Instead they splay out and have a rough edge like this:

Can someone tell me where I can get the 'neat on both sides' version (preferably from UK source), and what tools I need to install them?

Many thanks,

Neil ]]>
