I see it listed as "black" as opposed to surface ground. Does anyone know what the surface is like, is it just light scale like a post ht blade, or is it pitted. I need to know how much metal I will need to remove to get the metal to a "surface ground" type finish. I want to end up with metal very near to 3mm.
