    OK!OK!OK!OK!

Framelock then. In that case I have one framelock and I don't own a liner-lock at all.

All in the interests of precision.

    ...and you're not gettin' mine.

I'm not a liner lock fan -I always find them fiddly -I'd rate a Spyderco Millie over a Manix if it was a centre back lock.
Framelocks are a whole step up in my book, and the Sebbie eventually convinced me it was a better system.

But I've always thought of a framelock as just a linerlock on a scaleless folder?

It is, but not having to negotiate the scale to get at the lock makes a big difference, and effectively holding the lock ON when in use makes it much more secure. If you've had a linerlock slip off it's pretty unsettliing.
One of those "makes more difference than it should" things (Like a locking can opener on the big SAKs). OR maybe it's just me

Points taken. Especially the "holding it on while in use". Never thought of that.

No, but the writing etched on the blade above the 'R' logo is in Chinese

    Fine by me
Now, given that Classifieds is empty of them just now, anyone know where to get one (or two) of this pattern?

Was the other GB one a 718?

I had one but left it at my parent's house and my Dad has nabbed it.

    I really liked that one.

    Re: Ah, San Ren Mu

I usually go to eBay.com and do an 'Advanced Search' for knife ads originating from China and you can usually find a few SRMs like the 710. Then I just send the seller a message asking for their PayPal and send them my order that way. They can be a bit slow responding but I haven't had any problems buying directly like that. Just be very aware that there are a lot of fakes coming out of China so if you see a familiar USA brand knife in their lists with a price that looks too good to be true then it probably it

I picked my original 710 from Classifieds for <£10.
It was immediately confiscated by fluffy jr and I have been allowed to see it occasionally

    I like my new one
