    Which Burner?

I'm thinking of stacking up some insulating fire bricks for blade hardening, which of these kits would be best as a heat source?

    Anything else more suitable?

The bottom link looks like it will be up to the job...especially the largest burner.
My friend uses something very similar with good results on large and small knives.(ive witnessed this!)

Thanks, I thought I might have needed the bigger set. I've been trying to get a copy of that book but it's out of stock most places or the postage is high
