Actually, after getting this CF proto I realized that I still need to get a real production CF later in the year ... this one is too good for heavy use I won't be getting a Ti ... not my kind of thing

Now you know how I feel with my CF UKPK, I love it, but I never want to loose it!

sal's marketing is a double edge sword imo he drops hints etc about these knives gets people excited but with delays etc I'm sure has frustrated many customers. but at the same time it cause a stir and gets people reved up for his future products personaly I think I would prefer it being kept under raps until release. I'm spyderco-less atm I've flipped them all and I'm holding off for the lightweight and cf-ukpk. I hope they arrive soon before I random splerge on another spyderco just to fill avoid left by the ones I've sold.

Yeah, a bit of hype before the event can help boost pre-release orders and gets everyone talking ... but if you leave it too long then people get tired or waiting and cancel. But in this case Sal has been very good in keeping us informed of why there have been delays and I'm sure they would have liked to have them in our hands a month ago, if it had been possible
