    Cutting at the DKE

Here are some pictures of our cutting competition at the Dutch Knife Exibition. We had a great knife show and an even better competition.

Thanks to Spyderco for sponsoring us for with 3 engraved knives and 3 trophies for the first 3 places.

Special thanks to Jose Diaz for sending us 2 knives for our members who do not have their own knife to use in practice and competition!!

    1st place Erik Markman
    2nd place Toni Oostendorp
    3rd place Martin "Budje" Vermeij

Here is a pic of me cutting with one of Jose's knives. These are very good knives... A couple of our members who had problems with some stages in the past had no trouble with them using a knife of Jose.

    You really missed something Ian!

    Looks good.

Ruins the old saying "No way, Jose" though
Ruin is the Devil's work, consecutive and slow

I was sorry to miss the event as you guys well know. Well done to Erik !
Hopefully we shall get the diary sorted out properly next year and not have both DKE and Knives UK on over the same weekend again !
What were the prize knives like ?
If it's not sharp, it's just a piece of metal.

Yet another knife where you would have to do your "I'm a woodsman so its okay" song and dance for the local constabulary.
