How to remove the heating element from a hair dryer?
How do you remove the heating element from a hair dryer, is there a wire that you can snip? I can only access the the handle of the hair dryer and is there any wire that I can snip in the handle?

If you are thinking of using the dryer for a forge blower you can use it as it stands. I did this in a charcoal forge and used it for a while before I was able to get a gas forge. I used a standard dimmer switch to control the speed and it seemed okay (heat and speed were simultaneously adjusted).
Good luck with it,
Jim.Have a go ! You may well surprise yourself.
