Best of the best
I am sure this has been covered a 1000 times before, but then again, the knife world is always evolving, new products etc. I need a machete that can really cut it in a real world ,hard use ,agricultural ,arboricultural enviroment. Yes i have got chainsaws, bill hooks, etc but need the ADDED LENGTH of the machete and light weight. It will primerally be used to cut vegetation ie bramble ,LIGHT SCRUB, saplings, but i am sure it will be called upon to cut larger material ie hazle , ash sycamore and such like. ANY REAL WORLD CONTENDERS?????? Thanks guys RAVON.

Some of the makers here on bb could whip you up an awesome "hard use" chopper.
I've seen (and had the good fortune to try out) some fabulous parang style mchetes that were made by someone here, whose name unfortunately eludes me right now! D'oh!

Im quite drawn to the ESEE Lite Machete. Having ownwd a couple of thier knives, I know they stand up to very hard use. And the No Questions Asked Warranty would swing it for me.
