Me too. Going for simplicity also means that the knife will be more affordable and more members would be able to afford them.
I'd like to see lists made and knives sent out. It has been a while and while we'd like the knife to be very special with all the discussions going on, we need to make compromises and actually finalise this.

I think the decisions have been made, although it sounds like it will be CTS-XHP instead of S30v (which Sal says wont change the cost of the knife).

The good-natured twoddle that some members (myself included) have been engaged in since then, has buried the relevant posts. Probably somewhere around page 87, at a guess.

One man's twoddle is another man's hard fact.

I've been researching unicorn hair weaving methods - quite a dearth of research in that area I must say. Must be possible though.

You'll be needing a cavorite loom for that unicorn hair

I've sourced the fine strands of unicorn mane. If you've got the cavorite, then let's get this started.

Needs a brushed adamantium lanyard bead to finish it off.

    Re: Spyderco Native Slipjoint

Ok back in the real world, is there a production date and have we confirmation of Spec, Hopefully Danzo and Sal can pin this down, sorry but it is a known fact that anything designed in a focus group approach is normally bland. let's go hi spec and an awsome knife for life (I'm sure we would all save and pay for something special not just a different coloured cheap logo knife, like some have suggested).

Sal/ Danzo we have faith in you guys, let's make this happena and soon

Don't suppose it could have a damascus vg10 blade?

It's just that there are very few 'UK legals' in damascus.
