    Wonder if the 3 screws that support the clip could be flush or countersunk, would look smoother IMO

    The condition of certain matrices allow that once a hole is started it will then continue to fall into itself. It's failure as a hole is a merely a matter of an inadequacy in the conception of a hole. One of the pata-physical qualities of XHP is that it is such a matrix. It is why it is regarded as a supersteel.
