    Oh that was silly Nathan

    bye bye

Folks just to clarify, NFG had previously been banned from BB for lying about his age to gain access to the classifieds.
He was banned then and has been banned again now, he is not welcome on British Blades.

Re: Stainless Steel Toby Crocker Skinner knife

Folks, Nathan Gould (NFG) under the username "munkyman" criminalised over twenty BB members by knowingly lying about his age in order to buy knives from his fellow members who trusted him to be over eighteen as he stated.

He was fully aware that by doing so he didn't put himself at risk, but did put at risk the livelihoods of some he scammed, the professional reputations of others, and both in certain instances. He turned them into criminals.

Put yourself into the position of a professional knifemaker who is investigated, prosecuted, fined and shut down by the Police and Trading Standards for selling a fixed blade knife to an underage buyer. Put yourself in the position of the serving police officer who discovers that the lock knife you put up for sale was bought by an underage buyer, and now you face a full, formal, disciplinary enquiry, with the possible result of dismissal from the job you have done for twelve years.

That's what Nathan Gould was willing to do to get his knives, all the time lying to his so called friends here.

    He's scum.

I think Scum may be a little strong.
I'm not for one second excusing any of his behaviour in any way, but he is under age as we have now learnt and therefore mainly guilty of being young and obviously stupid and irresponsible, quite possibly causing all of the problems that someone has listed here (that is not for me to say, but those do seem to be some very specific examples), but please let us not call an irresponsible young man 'scum', leaves a bit of a bad taste in the mouth for me. Who on this forum wasn't once young and stupid? I know that I DEFINITELY was, I caused others problems, and in most cases, I was suitably punished for my misdemeanors.

It is possible, if others wish to relate, that you may find he was guilty of being more than young and stupid..........

I'm sure man, and I meant no offence. I'm just aware that he is little more than a child, and we're all old enough to be his dad. just sayin. I meant no offence.

You will find that even though some of us are young and stupid we do not put others people lives and dignity at risk by incriminating them.
Munkyman himself had a bad concience AFAIK, that means he was aware of what he was doing, he is not just scum, he is several levels below that.

........and no offence taken at all. We are all human, and we come to conclusions easily enough sometimes without being aware of a bigger story. No matter.

What matters, is attitude - and despite his years, maybe there was something not at all right with his......
