Re: SRM, Bee and Enlan knives Fan post

When you don't want to use such a beast for your utility tasks as the, much loved, EL-01 you can always go with the BEE L01!
Mine is the one with G-10 scales.
It's the first tanto and thumb disc knife i own and i'm liking it a lot.
Used it in some fishing activities and it is very nice. Not an edc knife but also a great tool.
    It's thiner than the EL-01.
If you took out an EL-01 scale it would be the same thickness as the BEE L01. It's lighter, also with no back spacer and has enough blade to do some heavier tasks.
It's impressively smooth to open with very good detent (not sure if this is written like this) and has the awesome jimping that you can see in the SRM 710, for example!
Blade centering is perfect and if you give it a little thrust with your thumb it flies open!
Very nice if your looking for a cheap but not so beasty tool.

This guy talks a little too much but you can get a nicer look at it:

Re: SRM, Bee and Enlan knives Fan post

Just arrived home and spoted my EL-01 sitting on my pc desk and started to play with it!
Flip, close, flip, close, flip, close...
I started to wonder how this cheap knife gives me as much pleasure owning like the other's most expensive!
I'm not a heavy user of any of mine and for me they are shiny things i like to have so the quality of steel and the rest of materials will never play a big factor in my day's use.
Of course i love having those higher quality ones with a stronger brand name and better materials but that's not the point.
What i mean by this is that these cheaper ones that we all have, sometimes grow on you and i trully believe i would enjoy having my pimped SRM 710 as i will having a sebenza
I hope my english is being easy to understand
I was talking with wolf67 earlier and he was quite impressed with me selling my leafstorm when i told him it was because i already had a natural g-10 SRM710!!
Having that Spyderco doesn't mean much to me anymore!! (selling it, by the way)
When i bought my leafstorm i had putten the 710 aside because it was very cold now but since the scale arrived, it hasn't left my pocket!
I own more expensive knives but the 710 really does it for me. It had always been my primary EDC folder!
    How crazy am I?

these two link pages offer treats too:
    http://www.exduct.com/Taidea_Knife_Sharpeners.html
    http://www.exduct.com/Electronic-Pro...-Mini-GPS.html

I'm waiting for the equivalent of the Emerson Folding Karambit I used to have (until I decided it was silly)
    http://www.emersonknives.com/karambitinfo.htm
nice gardening tools, so a cheap type would be good

    Really nices things there fluffy!
I meant to buy a sharpener from exduct a few months ago but i was needing it bad so i couldn't wait 20, or more, days for it so i bought a Lansky.
Now that i have it, i'll probably buy a pocket sharpener, just in case

    Was posted today mate
For the princely sum of £11 it's a whole lot of knife that normally fails to disappoint
