It's one of the best compounds I've ever used, but I keep giving bits to people to try out themselves!

Received this morning at 11:00, very good service from the posties!
The strop is great, long and wide so I can take a long slow stroke
The Starkie strop bars are larger than my last ones as well, and much better wrapped!

NOTICE
In order to maintain their wonderful, friendly, efficient and caring service (
) Royal Mail have increased their prices as of a couple of days ago 
Unfortunately, this means I have had to raise the price for one strop and one stick of compound, posted, to £15 in order to cover my extra outlay in sending them.
I have ammended the first post in this thread to reflect this.
The Starkie Blue does indeed now come in larger sticks than it used to. My supplier was having trouble with the folks making them up for him so has changed his supplier/maker who is using a slightly larger mould to pour them into. This means that the sticks do not fit very well into the boxes originally made for them to go in, so on occasion they will be supplied without the box. They are the exact same compound as before. Despite the increased size however, the price remains the same for the time being.Last edited by Longstrider; 09-04-11 at 08:19 AM.
