Don't ring any bells, but could it be a custom job with a peasant blade?

It does look like the CKC Hiker. It's a fixed blade made from the Svord peasant blade. It's not made by Svord.

I asked on Bushcraftusa and the owner of the knife in the photo got in touch - turns out the original one was made by a NZ chap out of a Svord peasant blade (he built the rest up with metal filler) they were so impressed they made the full tang fixed blade for him - I'm wondering if they sell them to others or if they can only be purchased from him

    apparently he's on knife forums....

Hi everyone.. I just signed up to reply to this thread. I'm kyley harris, Knivesandstuff..
the ckc hiker was originally a design I came up with and utilized peasant blades that I modified and converted to mortoised tang fixed blades. I only made 30.. after that I paid svord to take my design and make the blanks for me in bulk so I could sell them cost effectively. I made 240 of them before I stopped. they were based on the blade shape and size of the peasant.. but thats it. Svord did arrange the cutting and use their steel and heat treat and machinery to get the cost low for me.. when I do it myself in smaller batches and hand grinding everything costs more.

I just signed up really because something in this thread really shocked me.. (nothing by you guys) and I want to talk to Nzlander regarding the knife he purchased..
    Thanks all.
