    New Viking dagger

    Hey!

Here is a new dagger from the north of Sweden. I call it 'Segerfaders Fingirin'. Segerfader (Victory-father) is an old name for Oden, father of the gods. Fingirin is an old word (not used today) for 'finger'.

The blade is a 3 bar damascus blade. Handle is Stab. birch and mammoth bark, damascus and 925 silver. Sheath is a 2 section rawhide leather sheath with a small damascus onlay.

    Enjoy!

    Holy wow!

Is that CGI or is that something you can really hold........

    Quite, quite stunning......congratulations
    - as one lovely old knifemaker said to a younger one recently when passing on some tips, "Only a pleasure Willem. Not long,
and the old hands will not be able to make some fancy stuff. Passing on what I know to others will keep the wheels turning."

I'll repeat my comment from the "other" forum...

    WOW

    That is truly a masterpiece.

I would be proud to own that.

    Kind regards,
