    Rockstead 'Higo'

    Rockstead 'Higo' for Sale

One of my sharpening service customers has asked me to sell this rather special knife for him.
The knife came to me for the removal of a tiny nick in the edge, which I have done. I have re-sharpened and polished the entire edge, which has come up to a properly hair popping quality

As can be seen in the (typically rather poor) pictures, the knife does show a couple of small marks on the anodizing of the handle where it has been carried, but other than that it is in excellent condition.
This knife is as solid as a rock, yet light as a feather in the hand. I wish I could afford to keep it myself, but cannot, so now is your chance to buy a truly 'top-end' knife for far less than it would cost new.

This knife comes with all original paperwork, including the original purchase reciept, and it's original box with torx driver. Any inspection welcome (I could bring it to Jacks next weekend if anyone is seriously interested)
The 'Higo' sells for over £500 new.

Now available for a futher reduced price of £370

If it's not sharp, it's just a piece of metal.

It's tough stuff ! I don't know what it's supposed to be on the Rc scale, but I'd compare honing it to something around Rc62. Then edge geometry is good for 'general usage' i.e. not too fine like a razor where chipping might become a problem, but plenty fine enough to become (as it is ) a VERY effective cutting tool.
As said, I wish I could afford to keep hold of this one for testing (via EDC pocket clipped carry for a couple of years or so ) but, alas, I simply cannot.

Think you are about right with the hardness. There should be a certificate in pocket in box that shows Rc

What would be the price in USD shipped to US?
I have handled most of the Rocksteads at Blade. I just can not get used to the handles. But, you are right, awesome blade.
    I am interested. Thank you.

It was a tipoff mate - another member spotted the potential connection and a quick dig into his account confirmed it. Like always, we rely on you guys for so much of this. I just hope Ian doesnt get stung.
