    Fjording "Helle"

Hi from greece my name is paul and i am glad to share my passion with you all!
This is the first helle blade i make and i am very happy.
The blade is 7cm laminated carbon steel
For the handle i use olive wood, papper and brass spacer, horn ram and also a ring of chrysocolla stone.
    I hope you like it....

    Re: Fjording "Helle"

    Hi Poul, welcome to BB.

Very nice piece of timber and interesting bolster and spacer work. Good looking finish and an interesting sheath as well. Looks very comfortable to hold.

One thing though: For my personal taste the curves in the handle shape are a bit abrupt, i'd liked them flowing a little smoother (hope you understand what i mean). But that's just my opinion, anyway, great job and an appealing piece of cutlery
    Cheers
    Harald

you've got an eye for colors, this material combination is spectacular.
    great work, very precise.
I agree with fjellrav, you could thin it down a notch, but that can wait - anyhow, it's always better to take less off, than too much

Very nice knife and an unusual sheath. I'm also glad that you have a love for Nordic knives.
That olive wood in handle is amazing.

    Best regards, Senad.
