Help!! Woodlore Knife Going Rusty?!!

I find a good quality gun polish works wonders in removing stains or rust. I used to like a thick coat of Marine Sentry Tuf Cloth, but it has fallen from favour after my Katana got rust pits even though it had a double thick coating...

Now I use Militech-1 for rust protection as well as a quality lube. Works a treat.

I live about a 3 min walk from the sea...

Aaaah, jus' reminded me Wayne, some time ago (lost in the annus horribilis of time ) I ren waxed up some knives (including a Chris Claycomb that I happened to have lying around) none of them show any signs of tarnishing at all (not even the brass on 'em) & I live @ 1/2mile (as the seagull flies) fromma sea

For now I coat my Katana in Teflon grease... Seems to work! :p
