    Meths stove upgrade

Used this for years but it needs upgrading as the stoves all rusty and dying.
I love the kettle, Aluminium- holds 1.5 pints and used to have a brass screw on spout lid, that when loosened would whistle when boiling, but i lost the lid at a festival.

Any ideas for an upgrade, i have a kelly kettle but i prefer this old one as it packs up quite small and i like meths
I only need a little kit with a kettle for a brew on the go.

If it's only for a brew and not cooking maybe go for a whitebox stove and another kettle?

Everyone seems to say that it's one hell of a stove and the tests show that it has quick boil times.

I've got the smaller one and its very good if I was buying again I would go for the two person one or the Evernew. The good thing about the Evernew is you can put the pot on right away you don't need to wait until it heats up.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PHOENIX-Al...item1c1b14c561 Looks a good little setup, holds about the same amount of water as your old Sirram kettle.
    All the best
