    New GEC oranginess

A sodbuster in 'redneck orange' delrin and O1. 3 3/4ths closed No brain required there

I like the look of the new White Owl too, especially the clippoint one

Inevitably, GEC had to do this. I am surprised they are using 01. I look forward to the stagbuster, which I feel must also be in the pipeline.

    Re: New GEC oranginess

Hi Steve. The discussion is a technical one it seems. According to posts on BF, GEC said that they didn't want to make a clumsy soddie at $40 or so as a GEC brand, and above that there are Scouts for not much more anyway

So, these are SFOs commissioned by the collectorknives.net guy - which of course mean they will be a bit of a pest to get hold of - he not doing the shipping outside of the CONUS

I actually like that, its the redneck part that appeals to me for some odd reason. (I never married a cousin!)

Its just got appeal, nice color, nice shape and I know you can get them in more plain colors and materials but that just looks like I should 'pop down da walmart' for one...

    Hi Rob.

Interesting that GEC do an order like that. Still cannot figure out why they are using 01. Looks a nice soddie shape though.

It's a great knife in my view, a working GEC so all the attention to fit and finish you'd expect from GEC these days but with delerin scales for work. They've really sussed the pivot, rock solid with a nice snap. Beware, you'll not give cheaper Soddies a second look....

    Hope they show soon Mike

Right enough Steve - wish the little thing was in ATS 34 personally. Maybe with the Queen GEC merger we'll see her in D2?

And they're out of customs to!!!!!

Should be with me next week.

Over a month in customs for a box of slippies can't believe it.

Crazy!! The small jiffy envelope that contained mine was open by mount unpleasant ( first time for me ) but it passed through ok! Absolute cracker of a small sod buster! My first GEC & I'm hooked
