That was one reason for smaller holes, but many holes.

Thanks for your comment mate. I really hope to have made the
    right decision with this design.

Like the Tec Accessories ones with the big windows and trit protected by an acrylic tube. Stainless not Ti, but who'd know, or care.

Re: The Glowworm (aka a new Tritium-Lantern)

As i had some opionions about the concern of breaking a vial in this lantern.

The vial will fit perfectly without and gambling, there is no need
of an extra tube in it. It would not make a sense, since the design
was planned to proteect the vial of keys or something similar.

If you have less but bigger holes, you would need an extra tube
    that would make sense.

And even if the tube should break, for whatever reason, then you can change it easily.

Re: The Glowworm (aka a new Tritium-Lantern)

    I've found an American Tritium lantern here;

    http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/sho...d-Brass)/page3

this one shows slots, only i can't find the price.

For all the guys wanting one of toby_pra's lantern surely it doesn't matter what the housing is as long as its functional, robust and cheap it's the unit inside you'll see in the darkness, not the housing.

It's what i would term 'Bushcraft bling'.

Very cool design...but once you have it on your keyring, the vial will break.

Perhaps better for a backpack or so.

In those krypto-lite pictures you can see the rubber tubes the vials are put in, preventing them from breaking.

Re: The Glowworm (aka a new Tritium-Lantern)

can you explain, why youz post a link to another lantern????

    please delete that!

this is a thrady regarding my lantern and not others

Thank you for the PM above.

As this is an open board to discuss the pros and cons i included a link to another lantern,

so that a comparison could be made and an example of an earlier suggestion could be viewed.

Delete my first post........I don't think so.
