Bristol Cutler Association meet and great hammerin and pizza party
I would like to invite you all to our first meet and greet in the bristol worshop. The workshop is in an old City of Bristol Colege that shut down and is an experiment into shared working spaces, its a place that is knife and tool friendly and has the potential for regular workshops, school teaching events, meet ups, hammerins, collectors meetings things like that.
The College Project is celebrating its first birthday this month and is having a party. There will be live music and the clay pizza oven will be fired up. We can show you around the site so you see whats going on, and see if we can drag you in for some volunteering.
The event is on the 25th of Feb, from 7pm, but I would to have a mini hammerin during the day. we have a small forge and tiny anvil, and I may be able to persuade the blacksmith to rent her forge and anvils. Donations welcome in the form of cash or bringing materials or forges etc..
If anyone in bristol would like to come down and have a look see before, your welcome anytime as long as you contact me first to arrange.
hope to see you and comments and questions very welcome

Hi Puzo, sounds good. I've not long had a baby but if SWMBO is feeling good I might be able to pop over.
What's the postcode?
Kind regards
LukeI no longer need a signature... I now have a chip and pin.

Re: Bristol Cutler Association meet and great hammerin and pizza party
The blacksmith was alittleworried about using her forge andtools as she has had things go missing at other hammerins, I did explain we're a different bunchand more likely will have stuff left than stolen. She'll let me know next week. Theres not much to plan, we have a reletively small setup for twopeople, but anvil or forges would be good, but we have one, and hopefully two by then, small forges an anvil a grinder of two, plus other tools and bits and bobs. We just want people to come and share the wealth, be good to get a weekly session going to.
plus if you ant to stick around there will be food and music from 7ish

Puzo, I still haven't been able to get over to see you. I have put the 25th in my calendar and so far I am scheduled to be in the UK so I am hoping to be able to visit this time.
It will be great chance to meet a few other forum members too.

Re: Bristol Cutler Association meet and great hammerin and pizza party
puzo,
I hope the day went well. The inevitable happened. I told the other half I was going to Bristol and she said if you have time for that you can get going on taking the old shed down. After a full day of that I was incapable of moving. I will get over some time...
