Final BladeSports NLD (www.bladesports.nl)

Bladesports NLD is the Dutch sister organisation of BladeSports International. BladeSports is a competition in which different materials will be cut of chopped. The competitor with the lowest time and penalties will win the competition. At the DKE 2012 the final competition will be organised.

Forging workshops (www.smederijatelieralkmaar.nl)[/B]

In the tents outside, Smederij Atelier Alkmaar, will organise forging workshops throughout the day. You will start with a small piece of steel and leave with a forged blank. A great way to get an introduction into forging knives. When you want more, talk to the people of Smederij Atelier Alkmaar, they can help you out.

Bushcraft demonstrations (www.nukknives.nl en www.jjbushcraft.nl)

Making fire through different tecniques, is one of the topics addressed in the demonstrations by JJ Bushcraft. check them out in the " Bushcraft " tent. When you have questions about certain bushcraft topics, don't hesitate to ask them..

Axe throwing

A first for our show, Axe throwing. What is it, how do you do it, what kind of axe do you need, are there competitions in Holland? These are some of the questions that will be answered in this demonstration.
