    Family of 6

I was plannig to extend my Farid family from the solitary hollow handled XL and arranged to pick up the mandatory Rex 121 Mule, a prototype titanium handled axe (that Farid had laying around somewhere) and a hunk of D6 in the form of an integral flat ground proto with inlaid black micarta as the handle.
Unfortunately Farid also brought along what is best described as a tank of a folder and a stunning little knife with carbon fibre scales that extend length of the blade and actually are the blade as well because the hollow grind includes them. Couldn't resist them so the family became 6.
Will post better pictures and details when I get the chance.
    Very happy here.

That's what happened to that integral!
    Very nice catch.
I confess I hadn't seen this post as it was put up on my birthday....
I had no excuse to buy the axe either as my wife saw it before I could lie to her about it

....( you know the line: Farid made this and gave it to me because just keeping it around the house would warp his mind...that sort of thing)

I think your family is a little too large - I would like to put myself up to do the good deed of adopting some of those, you know, to lessen the burden.

    Very impressive collection there

The new ones are 1/2" overall (so bigger blade and tang) longer to make handling easier. I know how to get one...PM Farid
Can you get a good price for someone's organs though? I know people do get lost on the moor...

IIRC he's finished with the current batch in REX121, is finishing off the D3 and D6 bushcrafters, will be doing the next set after the backlog of orders for K2s in Rex have been covered, then mules, then the slippies.
