It's a shank, plain n simple. Not much use for practical purposes, but ho hum. It's like the FS, kinda, and I know CS make something a very similar shape (in stealth material, iirc ). Not my cup of tea, but I can see the appeal. Cruciform, I think, the name of the style?

Nope, that's 4 edges. No idea then.

I like the look of it but as a practical knife it looks pretty useless for anything other than what it was clearly intended to be for...

It sure looks different, I would like to see exactly how it's made, from an engineering point of view, it's amazing.

A modern day survival knife for Rambo.

Decent quality knives of that shape are milled from a triangular prism. The cheap ones are multiple blades welded together. I had one briefly, back when anything pointy caught my eye, and the edges were a freaking nightmare to sharpen - have a gander at the angle of the grind, it's just... blegh.

    Interesting knife.
Not much use to me apart from the engineering side. Or maybe a fancy falconers spike! Just rinse it under a tap to clean it though!

Anyone who does any research will see that the words 'Marfione' and 'Custom' are totally contradictory.
Factory machined somewhere and pointless to anyone over 12 years old.
