Sunny Sunday, just back from holidays...

The sun is shining, there's a nice breeze blowing, all the dirty clothes are in the machine, the stuff we didn't wear is airing on the rack on the back porch.

So where have I spent the last couple of hours?

In the cellar workshop, shaping a handle and gluing it to the tang of a Kankaanpää blade.

We spent week in Puerto Rico; extending it now, with some fresh piña colada that I just made and over the next few days by making some of the food I learned to prepare when there (tostones, mofongo relleno, mojito isleño, etc.)....

Photos will follow; I took a few while I was building up the handle before we left, and I'll take a couple more while it is in the clamp waiting for the glue to set, and then another when I finish shaping the handle over the next couple of days.
