    Kydex Notepad?

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum (just figured this is where most of the kydex makers hang out)

My insane drive to make all my archery equipment orange led me down the path of looking for an orange notepad to keep scores and sightmarks e.t.c. I started thinking that a wire bound notebook with orange Kydex covers might be pretty cool or even a Kydex notebook case. I work at a printers so binding the notebook for the first idea would be easy for me, also had some ideas for the case but just wondered if anyone had seen something along these lines already or am I trying to re-invent the wheel

    Re: Kydex Notepad?

My 1st idea would only need someone to cut a couple of bits of Kydex to size then I could do the rest, i'll try and figure sizes out after work and maybe you could do that for me as a starter, then i'll start drawing up some possibilities on a notepad case to see what people think. I was thinking along the lines of a magnetic closure but the only thing I had thought of for the 'hinge' at the top was a strip of leather maybe?

You could use a comb binding machine perhaps?

Not a fan of comb binding but I do have access to a wire binder which I think would look better (same machine does comb and wire so they are both an option)

I guess you just need a couple of kydex leaves with a row of holes punched along one edge.
    I small 4 x 3 size rite-in-the-rain style would be good.

That was my original thought, maybe securing the pad in with some Chicago Screws?
