Re: Blade Show 2012
That's two more tables I'll be sure to stop by. It will be good to meet some members of the forum.

Re: Blade Show 2012
Only six more days until my son and I hit the Blade Show. We'll only be there on Friday though due to other commitments.

Re: Blade Show 2012
Well, my son and I spent the day at the Blade Show. It's about an hour and a half drive from the house. We got in early with VIP passes and had a great time. They had Grace Horne listed at table 4B but she wasn't located there and I never did find her. I picked up some supplies I needed, along with some W2 and 154CM steel, and a nice piece of damascus. I didn't need any stabilized wood, I have about ten pounds in the shop and another six pounds out being stabilized. The pickings were slim when it came to good quality sambar stag when we were looking for it. I didn't find any I wanted to buy. I have a good bit in the shop, but I'm always on the look out for more. There were some really fine looking knives there, but I managed to come home with a good bit of money left. I did buy my son a knife he couldn't live without. Usually I come home with bags of materials and broke, but I'm actually in good shape in my shop. Tom Mayo the folder maker from Hawaii had sold out before the doors were opened good. It was a day well spent.

I never did find your table Grace and I was looking forward to meeting you. What table number did you end up at?

Re: Blade Show 2012
This is the only picture my son took. That's Tom Mayo on the left and I'm the really good looking one on the right.
