one of the reasons why so many military hv's break is that they are being asked to do far more than the original requirement. the bolt on armour and additional weaponry is bound to take a toll.

cant beat a bit of water, although this was welsh water so there may have been quite a bit of sheep additive

Ouch!
I am so glad I did not buy a Hummer (Jordan is one of the few places in the world that I could MAYBE afford the fuel to run one, cost is still not Kuwait style cheap, but it is about half the price of the UK).
We have a new LR4 coming soon, so really looking forwards to trying that out.
