    Re: Recommend me a backpack

If you are happy with the 'Mil' look I would look no further than the USMC ILBE Issue Packs designed by Arcteryx and made by Propper. Amazing value for a bomb proof pack with waterproof liner bags, removable lid and in a not bad looking USMC camouflage.

    Re: Recommend me a backpack

I've found walking packs to be more comfortable than military packs, in my personal experience

The military/tactical type pack I have is my Maxpedition Condor, which is used regularly. Its only a daypack and I don't use the waist belt (as the back is too short for it to work on me) so its no more comfy than lots of other packs. Its a very usefully designed pack for my purposes though

I have the RUSH 72 bought from a good friend here few years ago. It goes everywhere with me and I usually carry a ton. I always find this pack to be very comfortable.
It also has plenty of room for everything I need for a few days trip. It offers much better organisation than the similar Tad gear but Tad is even more comfortable. I almost always end up carrying the RUSH 72.
When I'm good, I'm very good. When I'm bad, I'm better.

After a lot of thought I ended up buying the rush 72. Can't say I have any complaints about it
