Need help for my furnace wiring
Hi all.
I need some helps. I gonna fabricate a simple tube furnace. Im gonna use kanthal heating wire to heat my furnace (by winding on the tube). My question is, how to do the connection between my heating wire and my temperature controller? Can i simply connect one end to positive pole and the other end to negative pole of temperature controller? I'm afraid to do try and error cause i dont want to burn my temperature controller(its very expensive one)
Thanks all

Re: Need help for my furnace wiring
You will most likely need a solid state relay to connect the elements to.
What temperature controller do you have?
I use stainless bolts that run though the insulating material to attach my elements. At the other end of the bolt, I have high temperature wire, 1 to the SSR and 1 to negative pole
