Re: Pistol Crossbows & bolts
Received mine this morning - favourably impressed. Sturdy construction, just needed a little assembly and a bit of grease. It was a bit fiddly to string by myself but a stirrup arrangement made from paracord makes it a doddle.
Have only tried it at short range, for safety reasons but it packs quite a bit of power and runs true. Hoping to try it over a bit more distance on a friend's farm at the weekend.
All in all a good product at a great price and great service. Thanks!

Re: Pistol Crossbows & bolts
Can you tell me anything about the quality?
All pistol crossbows seem so cheap!

Re: Pistol Crossbows & bolts
Hi mate,
Well a very sheepish postman delivered a parcel this morning that seems from the labels to have been rerouted further than the Olympic Flame, don't see why; my details are clearly printed! So I reckon 32 days must be the record now!!! The bow is excellent value, seems sturdily made with a full ally frame. Shoots true.
I've resent your money this morning as you were trusting enough to refund me whilst we waited for it to surface. Many thanks, thoroughly recommend a gentleman trader

Re: Pistol Crossbows & bolts
Sorry mate, currently I dont have any outdoor space to try it out in, but it's a lot more powerful than the impression I get from looking at the picture..

Re: Pistol Crossbows & bolts
From my experience the video undersells it. From 3 metres or so a bolt will go about 12-15mm into solid seasoned decking boards pushed flat against a brick wall. At about twice that distance it's pretty repeatable using the metal bolts, once you work out a consistent method of aiming. I still haven't dared try out the maximum range due to concerns for wildlife in the area.

Got a few left and as it look right now I wont restock them. Once they are gone they are gone, so if you want one, now is the time to buy.
