Can I use nail varnish remover?
For cleaning Ebony prior to glueing?

Or should it be pure acetone?
Thanks

Varnish remover has other stuff to strengthen and nourish fingernails...pure acetone or iso-prop alcohol will do..even lacquer thinners

I use nail polish remover all the time, but it is only mixed with water. I think it would be safe to give it a try!

Re: Can I use nail varnish remover?
Common ingredients are
Butyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate, Isopropyl Alcohol, adiptate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Benzophenone-3
If you buy the more expensive ones they'll tend to have essential oils in to nourish nails and mask the smell, so in this case the cheaper the better

Thanks for the info.
Managed to snag some Acetone from the Cons Dept at work, so sorted now.
