What glue to use on Mylar? / Puncture fix

    Hi!

I have a bag made of Mylar film, that serves as a lightweight seat on an Alpacka packraft. It has developed a tiny hole that's leaking air out slowly. I can see that the metallic coating on the film itself has peeled away exposing the clear plastic film. I need to fix this, as I'm leaving for a trek on friday morning.

What glue can I use to seal the hole? Any other ideas on how to fix this?

    Thanks,
    -Henri

Cheers guys, tried the tape. No good though, the seat gave way along all the seams, so no good using that one. Will have to do with something else...

Guess I'lll go with a canoe bag filled with grass or something similar.

I suspect that you can hardly blame the tape for that.

I have fixed many slow punctures on hypalon and PVC rubber ducks with a drop of super glue, it never leaks there again and makes the ugly patch thing unnecessary unless it's a tear. Might work on Mylar if it's a small hole.

Try putting a load of mcnett seam sealer on it, then a patch of mylar (or duct tape)
