    Free fishing on the loch too,plenty walking,be it the hills or the wood and gorge of Ness Glen.

    If Loch Doon is still in the running I thought I would let you know that its fisshing pretty good at the moment (and its free)

    In 2 hours on Friday I had 7 perch and 2 trout one of which was over a pound.

    date dependant, i'm up for it - John's been showing us Southerners up for ages with his accumulation of motorway miles for the cause Be good to drag my English arse north of the border - sack a few towns on the way - just like the old days
    Can't help thinking that this would be more of a goer a bit later in the year - summer is pretty busy with meets already?
