If I could afford it myself, I would be suggesting a lottery passaround.

I mis-read the title for a minute. They look like really nice knives, bit out of my price range at the moment but having followed the link I thought it was rude not to browse heinnies shelves and now have a lansky turn box and tick key (its that time of year) winging its way to me!

I do like the look of that CF model.

Not having a finger choil puts me off a little, the £209 price puts me off even more though.

Would be nice to handle one and get a feel for it. I am still a little tempted

not sure about the name of this one, it suggests to own one, you have to be able to peel an orange in your pocket or carry out vehicle maintenance through the letterbox

Hmm, that c-f one is attractive, very attractive.

Ok, so it looks good, but why the heavy price tag - I'd like to handle one and see why

I'm guessing it's the extra work cone into them for the flush backspring and the ball bearing pivot.

Wonder if we could get Heinnies to let us borrow one for the pub meet? (probably a fat chance, but... Maybe if we invite Nick and buy him lunch? )

I'm wondering if there might have been a mistake, carbon fibre for same price as g10

I'm thinking the cf one has been priced the same as the g10 one by accident.......
But what I'm hoping is that the g10 ones have been priced the same as the cf ones by accident and they will correct the price soon.
£150-175 at the very most and I would contemplate an olive drab g10 one otherwise it's too expensive IMO

    Re: Vagnino slip-joints

The knife looks great, I love everything about it and kudos to Michael and Tom for creating it. I do hope it sells well but it's not a good time to be selling a a UK legal EDC knife for £210. And when many people are also waiting on news of the BB Spyderco Native slipjoint, which is not going to be cheap, then I fear this very lovely knife won't sell like it would have done two or three years ago.

I'd love one, especially in orange of course, but it might as well be £210 million given my current finances!

I spoke to Nick yesterday as I understand it the CF version is on a special offer at the moment, and will be priced slightly more when the offer ends.

By the way I couldn't resist CF version on the way
